Role Description
Data Integrity Officer
Full-time, 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid Remote)
Core Tasks:
- Review reporting data sent by various reporting entities (financial institutions, businesses, etc.)
- Analyze data provided by reporting entities to ensure they are in compliance with current regulations
- Identify errors and non-compliant items in data provided by reporting entities
- Create spreadsheets and report summaries detailing findings of errors and items in non-compliance
- Review findings with compliance offers via phone or video chat
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or a combination of college diploma and work experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Experience in writing and preparing documents (such as reports, briefing notes, research papers or summaries) using information from multiple sources
- Experience in working as part of a team (classroom, employment, or other experience)
- Ability to use sound judgement and make decisions based on facts available
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Ability to read, write, and converse in English fluently

Intelligence Analyst
Full-time, 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Ottawa, Ontario
Core Tasks:
- Receive and analyze voluntary information records received from law enforcement partners detailing their ongoing investigations
- Perform searches of financial transaction reports that are contained in internal database that are potentially related to investigations
- Following an established procedure, decide if transactions meet the disclosure threshold to law enforcement partners or any other agencies
- Extract related transaction reports data from internal database and import into excel spreadsheets in order to organize the information
- Create a chart detailing the overview of the key money flows
- Draft a report summary that detail findings of transaction reports related to the investigation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables,etc.)
- Experience drafting documents such as briefing notes, policy papers, research reports or executive summaries; using information from multiple sources (classwork, employment or other experience)
- Experience in presenting findings or recommendations to manager, professor, class, etc.
- Experience in working as part of a team (classroom, employment, or other experience)
- Willingness to gain an understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing
- Ability to use sound judgement and make decisions based on facts available
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Ability to manage contact with difficult, disturbing, or upsetting subject matter

- Experience in planning and conducting research or analysis relevant to the position (e.g., money laundering, financial crime, organized crime, terrorist financing, terrorism, international trade/commerce, national or international security, political science or economics).

Jr. Compliance Officer
Full-time, 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid Remote)
Core Tasks:
- Draft emails and letters using templates to send to MSB (Money Service Business) and document completion
- Review information provided by the MSB’s and ensure that the information matches current records. Submit requests for more information when the information does not match.
- Follow a written procedure to pull raw data from various sources, organize the data, and present the information in a shared document
- Review excel documents to find and resolve duplicates found on a monthly basis
- Organize MSB contact information and contribute to the process of mass mailing when reporting entities need to know about guidance/program/system changes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills

OPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICER
Full-Time, 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Ottawa, Ontario
Core Tasks:
- Receive correspondence and other information that requires data entry into database
- Perform data entry in order for analysts to have accurate and up to date information
- Organize and maintain logs of received data
- Perform self-review data entry to ensure accuracy
Requirements:
- Secondary Diploma
- Basic Experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Experience in analyzing, tracking and archiving of correspondence and other various documents (classroom, employment, or other experience)
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Manage contact with difficult, disturbing, or upsetting subject matter

Tester Support
Full-time, 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid Remote)
Core Tasks:
- Execute both manual and automated test cases that are prepared by Senior QA Testers
- Create “bug reports” on errors found on while testing in-house and out of the box applications
- Document findings uncovered during testing in Jira
- Receive training on how to write QA test cases. When comfortable, the successful candidate will begin writing test cases
Requirements:
- College diploma OR a combination of high school diploma and work experience
- Basic Programming Experience gained by coursework, employment, or self-education
- Basic SQL skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Ability to use sound judgement and make decisions based on facts available
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
