Jake’s House Employment Mentoring Program
An opportunity for those seeking on-the-job employment experience to learn from experts in their fields.

Jake’s House Employment Mentoring is an innovative, adaptable program that supports the integration of young adults with autism into the workforce. Through this program, young adults will have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their professional skills through paid placements that can also function as extended interviews at participating companies looking to support youth employment and to diversify their workforces.
Leveraging Specialisterne’s proven recruitment methods, this program connects businesses with well-qualified candidates on the autism spectrum. Under the guidance and support of an internal mentor, candidates will gain valuable employment experiences and a deeper sense of purpose and belonging.
Funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, this program is delivered by Jake’s House in collaboration with Specialisterne Canada.
