Partnering for student success

Strengthening transitions to employment for neurodiverse students

Post-secondary education has over the years become a much more viable option for individuals on the autism spectrum, and for others who identify as neurodiverse. At the same time, a large proportion of this student population experience delayed career starts and long-term unemployment following graduation. This is often the case even for those who have achieved high academic performance.

As a response, we’ve developed a program to help remove the barriers neurodiverse students currently face, providing them with experiences, tools and employment opportunities for a better chance to leverage their program of study and to graduate with a stronger foundation for future success.

Built on the proven Specialisterne model that supports recruitment and maintenance of neurodiverse employees in Canada and internationally, this program will provide positive and important outcomes for students, employers and schools across Ontario.

This is an innovation opportunity for a select number of post-secondary institutions. Contact us to learn more.
