Digital Strategy Analyst

Here is what you will do:

  • Research and analyze local and global competitive markets to identify emerging trends, effective strategies and new technology relating to digital banking and marketing
  • Document your findings and share information with your peers using internal tools and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Participate in the review and evaluation incoming requests from internal CIBC teams for digital products and improvements to ensure alignment with established criteria, resources and priorities
  • Assist in the development of roadmaps for mobile and online banking which highlights current projects along with research findings and competitor information
  • Support processes and tools used by the internal team to identify areas for improvement and ways of working more effectively
  • Communicate with peers and other teams in person and via phone, Skype and email to gather information about the effectiveness of certain programs and applications

In performing this role you will: 

  • Utilize your knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to gather and summarize information and research findings
  • Have an interest in financial services and researching and learning about digital trends as well as current global and local digital strategies and technology
  • Use your strong attention to detail to ensure completion and accuracy of information
  • Be a process oriented individual with an interest in contributing to process improvements
  • Use your critical thinking skills and ability to research independently to review and comprehend the ‘why’ behind the data
  • Use your ability to clearly and concisely communicate findings to relay information to team members

Nice to have:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in technology, marketing, data analytics or similar field
  • Experience in using graphics and data storytelling

The Recruitment Process

Application

The first step in the recruitment process is for interested candidates to apply for the roles. Employment Discovery Workshop

The next step in the Specialisterne recruitment process is an Employment Discovery Workshop. It is a hands-on, task-based experience where you will work on specific projects in a relaxed setting. It is an opportunity to learn about our approach to hiring, and for us to get to know you – what motivates you, your interests and your skills.

Training Program

Candidates whose profiles are well-suited for the roles for which we are recruiting will be invited to participate in a four-week skills evaluation and training program on the employer’s site. It will include case studies, real-life projects, as well as training relevant to the roles and working environment.

Employment

Employment offers are made to the candidates with the best fit. Once accepted, the individuals will transition into their positions at the organization. Specialisterne Canada will provide support where necessary, which may include modifications to the work environment.
